Other styles taught at the studio include Street Latin and Argentine Tango. You can learn one, some or all styles competitive, social or just for fun. If you’re not sure which one is for you, why not come to the studio and check it out.

No. Your coach can partner you in the private lessons and depending on numbers, there are partners available in the group classes. The best place to find a more permanent dance partner is in the studio.
+ Do I have to have experience?
No music or dance experience is required. Lessons are tailored to help you achieve your goals, no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or champion dancer.
+ Am I too young / old to learn dancing?
Dancing is an ageless activity and we cater for all ages from 5 - 90. If you choose to compete, you’ll compete in your age group with dancers of similar age and skill level.
+ Am I fit enough?
Dancing is a form of exercise, and if you have any injuries or health conditions, it is always best to check with your doctor first. Music tempo is adjusted to your ability and it is always OK to have a little breather and a drink.
+ What do I wear?
The studio does follow a fairly relaxed dress code. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move and most importantly good footwear is required. If you are planning on regular dancing lessons / practice, investing in dancing shoes is recommended. Check with your coach before you buy.
+ What about competitions?
Competitions are governed by the rules of Dancesport Australia and there is nothing quite like being out there with your fellow competitors putting your skills to the test. Couples compete in age and skill level groups, giving everyone the opportunity to compete with couples of similar standard and age.
+ I have two left feet ...
Dancing doesn’t come naturally to most of us. You’ll be surprised how much you can learn in a short period of time. The hardest step is to contact the studio, the rest is easy!
