THE STUDIO...THE FAMILY

Dancing is not just a hobby. It is a way of life, a journey, and one of the most fulfilling things you can do for yourself both physically and mentally. Dancing has no boundaries. No matter what age, gender or ability, dancing is one of the most versatile and option filled past times.

Studio owner, Madeleine Zoanetti, epitomizes a love of Ballroom Dancing through all 3 styles; Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue. Her love and passion for dance creates a studio, which is welcoming and warm to all those that enter. Whether you're an advanced dancer or a beginner just starting out, we have something to offer everyone. You want to dance, and we love that you would be coming into our dance family to learn!

STYLES OF BALLROOM DANCING

Embrace Your Love of Dance

Ballroom Dancing has three different styles which can be learned. These are Latin American, Ballroom (Standard), and New Vogue. Below is an overview of each style to give you a clear understanding of which one (two or three) you may be interested in trying!

The studio is also available for other styles, but please enquire about them.

Anna and Siggi Adelaide Latin Dancing

Whether it be the Cuban beats of the Cha Cha Cha or the Spanish bullfight of the Paso Doble, the Latin American style is set to get your blood racing. There are five dancers in this style; Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. All five dances have their own characterisation and can all be learned at every age and level.

Clint and Sonya Adelaide Ballroom Dancing

The Standard or Ballroom style is that of some of the most recognised dances of Ballroom Dancing, There are also five dances in this style; Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep. The Ballroom entwines classic and elegance with passion.

David and Miriam New Vouge Dancing Adelaide

New Vogue is a style that consists of many dances. It is more commonly known as the sequence dance style, where people dance the same steps at the same time in a circle. It is very popular in Australia and New Zealand.

Madeleine, Annalisa, and Siggi are coaches of International standards, yet no matter what your age, experience, or dancing capability you are welcomed and treated with respect and consideration. Unlimited dancing opportunities are continuously available through group classes, individual lessons, social dancing, medals, or competition, ask and you shall be accommodated.

If you truly want to dance, I can honestly say; to join Madeleine's studio is to know you have located your Pot of Gold at the end of the Dancing Rainbow.

We started our dance journey earlier this year with very little prior experience.

We were made to feel incredibly welcome and it wasn't long before Annalisa and Siggi had us dancing the Samba and Cha cha.

We love every minute of it! So much fun!

I have been at Madeline's dance studio for 5 years, and I can say that I do not regret any part of that journey. Being in year 12, most of my focus goes towards my education, however, dance allows me to enjoy myself while taking a break from the stresses of year 12.

The atmosphere in the studio is very welcoming. The teachers always give 100%. they provide excellent one on one support and push you to be the best you can be. While some may consider dancing to be a more female dominated sport,  I feel very comfortable and supported in this studio and would recommend all boys to come and try dance.
